A new software version, voxweave 0.1.3, has been introduced to improve the subtitling experience for anime and film enthusiasts. This is particularly useful in scenarios where opening and ending themes, as well as insert songs, might confuse ASR systems, leading to inaccuracies in subtitle generation. By employing a local-first Qwen3 ASR system, the software enhances the precision of forced alignment and provides tools for editing and resynchronizing subtitles, which is essential for maintaining the integrity of the viewing experience.

Additionally, the software is designed with a focus on CJK (Chinese, Japanese, Korean) languages, addressing the unique challenges posed by these scripts in the subtitling process.
